Ian Martinez

 I have felt that looking back on life creates falsehoods without physical proof, I chose to pursue photography to show proof of that human spirit in any way I can.

My Journey started in 2018 when I first pursued Content Creation, with hours of training and skill development I climbed to my first 10,000 followers. As 2020 came about, I decided to walk back my pursuit of the influencer title and chose to become a short form editor for other personalities and creatives. While that was fulfilling, the feeling of a creative burden came upon me, I needed to create. With that need I picked up my first camera and have developed not only my skills, but my taste, interests, and desire to get back to Content Creation and Acting.

I have been a Photographer for 4 years and Cinematographer for 2 years. My Journey in Cinematography started as a side-effect of content creation producing, finding the right heartbeat of each scene and planning thorough steps from set scouting to editing and color grading. I would consider my current track to lead towards Creative Direction, I am assured that my Direction will lead to beauty from any story with any medium.

I also have experience in Pre-Production on many counts, such as storyboard editing, production planning, casting, and  brand development. Post-Production skills I handle are video editing, color grading, and product marketing. 

With my experience in photography I have been able to create community and create pieces that resonate deeply with me. While my specialty and interest for photography is in Fashion, my heart still belongs to the environment and the non-human world, this feeling resulted in me creating a specialty curated exhibit at the The Gallery Local Artist Project a sole exhibitor for my collections from Japan and California with pieces such as “Gentle End” and “Clarity in Fuji”
